Publishers are being forced to reconsider the basis of their business and most of the times they are simply not prepared for the change since they lack the mental agility to alter their approach. Until now we have lived on a sort of happy island, making millions of books but not really facing what the market was asking us. Now, for the first time, we are obliged to understand what the readers really want.
